My
Personal Narrative

Core Drivers
Problem Solving Icon

At the heart of everything I do is a deep-seated commitment to problem solving. Whether it’s helping a family navigate public housing benefits or untangling a web app integration bug, I bring the same curiosity and determination to the table. I believe that every challenge—technical, social, or human—is just a solution waiting to be discovered. I’m driven by the desire to improve systems, empower people, and build things that make life smoother and more just. Solutions are my love language—tech just happens to be the dialect I speak best now.

Where It Started

My career began on the frontlines of social work in Chicago, serving as a case manager for residents of the Chicago Housing Authority. That role wasn’t just a job—it was a mission. I was fueled by a passion for equity, social justice, and a relentless drive to reimagine how we address structural challenges. Whether advocating for better resources or designing workflows to help my team triage cases more effectively, I was always looking for ways to improve the system. That mindset never left—it just evolved.

Turning Point

In 2018, I realized something that shifted everything: not all social problems have purely social solutions. Some challenges require data, automation, and code. I saw the potential to scale my impact by learning the tools of technology—project management, automation, infrastructure, APIs. It wasn’t just a career pivot; it was an expansion of my toolbox. I embraced the tech world not to abandon my mission, but to amplify it. And the more I learned, the more I knew this was the right path forward.

Where I Am Now?
Current Role Icon

Today, I work at the intersection of people and platforms. I bridge the gap between engineers and end-users, between stakeholders and systems. Whether I’m solving application issues, onboarding clients, or managing technical projects, I bring a customer-first mindset and a systems-thinking lens to everything I do. I collaborate with junior devs, product teams, and C-suite executives alike—translating technical jargon, untangling implementation roadblocks, and always pushing toward more stable, scalable solutions. Same mission, new medium.

Where I am Going
DevOps Future Icon

The next evolution in my journey is DevOps. It’s where my passion for cross-functional collaboration meets my obsession with continuous improvement. I’m fascinated by how development and operations—two disciplines long at odds—are now learning to work in sync to build faster, smarter, and more reliable systems. That kind of synergy feels like home to me. As I level up in automation, observability, and CI/CD pipelines, I remain grounded in the same goal: solving hard problems and making technology more humane, one integration at a time.
